Michelle Campitelli, whose truly angelic voice can hypnotize you into believing you're sitting in the front row listening to any national artist when she chooses to present a ballad. Her super-charged personality becomes contagious as it energizes the audience and she displays the other side of her vocal capability with a more aggressive vocal style.
Michelle's many musical inspirations include Crystal Gayle, Tanya Tucker, Patsy Cline, Pat Benatar, Heart, Martina McBride, and even Journey. However, she says her musical roots began with blue grass and gospel influences stemming from her Grandparents.
When asked, "Were you born with this wonderful voice, or given lessons?" She proudly replies (with a certain smile in her eyes); "I've been singing since I can remember, harmonizing as a small girl with my momma, with big aspirations" A small town girl, with a big town voice.
"Singing is what I love to do, but telling the story in the song is what I Love to do best. My music reflects what I am going thru in my life, it makes telling the story easy. I find it easy to get wrapped up in the emotions of a song. Music is my passion, my drug of choice. Anyone who knows me knows that it is a part of my soul."
